New Abode in Fort Worth
Sunday, May 29, 2011It's been a whirlwind of activity since graduation, but I think things are finally settling down. I have a new apartment, and I've survived the two-day orientation. There's a whole lot of pressure now that I've been told that TCOM will be personally watching our progress through the program. They've got our names down already, and will schedule an interview around Fall semester if we're still in good standing. I hope I can be impressive...?

In any case, I still need to finish applications this summer as well as completing a preceptorship. I'm super excited for that because (it's a little childish) but I have to be wearing my white lab coat and UNT student badge throughout that week. I wonder how difficult it's going to be? I don't want to get caught up in worries and second-guessing like I did in college. This is a second chance, a fresh start, and I don't exactly want to muck it up. On a side note, I bought yogurt from Yogurtland for the first time. Huzzah. Also, I really love my apartment. My room is huge so it feels really bare with just my bed, desk, and bedside table. But who can complain about all that space! The room adjoining the leasing office is also pretty snazzy.
