I've been puzzling over what I should write about but I haven't been able to really find the time to gather my thoughts. Between working, exercise, and figuring out dinner, I got stuck debating between different types of posts until January sort of flew right past me. So in a bid to keep that from happening in February, I thought I would just plow in now. Yesterday was our (Ben and I) 4 year anniversary. I presented him a heart-shaped tin of Godiva chocolate truffles (Strawberry Cheesecake and Creme Brulee) at the stroke of midnight. I also made dinner (steak and veggie stir fry in spicy bulgogi sauce). I had leftover steak that I cut so I marinated it last night and will be cooking it in... 30 minutes from now for lunch! And just in case this all wasn't sweet enough, I lit the cinnamon sugared doughnut candle from Bath & Body Works to set the mood.

Ben told me he made reservations for a Celebrity Mystery Theater Event at the Spaghetti Warehouse for tonight. I am seriously STOKED. I can't count how many times I keep asking him to check out this murder mystery dinner event I keep hearing about through livingsocial. I'll try and take photos if I can! For the next post :)

Ben's birthday recently passed as well. We had dinner with his family at Confucius and they ordered a ton of food. The cake was also very delicious!



One of Ben's cousins got married earlier this week in Canada. They're going to have a wedding reception next week a day after Valentine's day. It's another thing to look forward to this month :) I want to take a bunch of photos to show here because I think the next months will just be full of work. And speaking of work, I found a PA who would let me shadow him and write me a recommendation letter. It's given me a lot of hope for this application cycle. I now have 3 new things to my application that I didn't have before so I hope it makes all the difference! Fingers crossed!

I am happy to say that I got accepted into a couple advanced nursing programs. But I made the very big decision to turn down the offers and focus on PA school. It's a huge gamble but I want to stick to my guns and stay on the path I chose for myself. I need to really fight for it. And when that is over, then I can look over my options. Hopefully it won't come to that though...heh.

Well I'm off to cook lunch. I'll try and not let another dry spell happen for this month. It's a promise!
