Ever since I started working in the ED, I haven't found much time to write in here. The random days I do have off, I spend as much time sleeping or quickly seeing family and friends. I had some drafts set up about Black Friday and Thanksgiving but I just don't feel like posting them. They're perfectly ordinary posts but not really what I feel like posting about. I've seen so much these past couple of weeks: death, codes, mental health problems, etc. Also a lot of minor complaints from mostly lonely people. Especially around this time of year, I was sympathetic to their motives for coming in. Not everyone is blessed to have family and friends around for the holiday. With that in mind, I will refrain from continuing the trend from last year's "look back in the year" video posts (at least until next year hehe).

I did churn out a December video as a fond farewell to the year. I've got work tomorrow but I will be able to see the clock turn to midnight with Ben. It's actually our first time spending New Years together so it means a lot to me. I still plan on posting about recent shopping purchases and, of course, certain pending career decisions, but those will come in the new year.
