I got my sixth, MY SIXTH, interview last week for UNTHSC. That's going to be quite a walk down memory lane. I've made tentative plans to have lunch or dinner with Triet (maybe others?) the day before my interview. I think it will definitely put me in a positive mood for the morning session. Instead of committing to the drive, I'll be flying in. My trusty mini cooper is definitely in her twilight years so I don't want to risk breaking down my car on the way there. At the same time, my parents will be flying to New York for a Broadway musical and then they're hopping onto a cruise to Nova Scotia.

I've been solidly jealous of all my parents' shenanigans since I left for college! They make so many exciting plans! (Secretly though, I'm very excited for them!)

Anyway, I've also made the decision to go from full-time to part-time at the ER because as the days are passing, I find myself heeding the advice of current PA students to take as much time as you can to spend with friends/family before you commit to school. On top of that, Ben will be flying to interviews soon (and me along with him!) so I want to free up my schedule for that as well. I do believe he has first interview at one of the places he rotated at (in Michigan) which is close enough to RFUMS that my heart's all aflutter!

Since interviews for both of us are kind of splitting up our time, we've tentatively chosen the days we'll be heading to Florida. Ah, but what's in Florida, you ask?



I'm so excited. The inner HP-geek will be out in full swing. I have a half a mind to walk out of there with a cloak, hat, broom, and wand... maybe even a bird cage. Who knows?! Also, one of the nights we're doing is the 'Halloween Horror Nights' so we're thinking of trying the 'Terror Tram' because it's being invaded by THE WALKING DEAD. Being fans of the show, how can we pass this up?

If all goes well, I will have much footage/video and a treasure trove of memories to last me until the first day of classes :)
