Typing this post on my new laptop. It's a little misleading because I'll be returning this laptop for another one that's exactly the same but with a working webcam. The webcam here works great but there's a strange black ring around it, as if the camera inside the screen is off-centered... it's frustrating because I was hoping to just enjoy the new laptop and be done with it! Hopefully I can get it sorted out tomorrow.

Also, as I was studying in the library, I received an unexpected text:

Thanks for being a really good president last year. I'm sorry for being rude last year.

I was unprepared for the text, but I was happy to receive it. Looking back on the past year, I realize that I wasn't good at showing the things I did as President. I certainly didn't open up as much as I could, mostly because I felt awkward at doing so. In any case, I just found the text to be entirely lovely!
