The time has come for another look back on the year...and What A Year. I don't write that lightly because a quick glance at the posts I have managed to write in 2015 remind me what a marvelous year it has been. From traipsing through Europe to listening to Augustin Hadelich whip out a Paganini Caprice as an encore, I think it's fairly clear how marvelous it was. 2015 is going to end with much fun and I will be surrounded by friends so I felt it best to write my thoughts now while they're still fresh.

And it's funny because as I sit here in front of my computer, debating what wise words I could impart to close this year off, I've arrived at a different conclusion altogether. I don't need to write a protracted post waxing poetic about the life I have thus far. Maybe the nuance of growing older is not feeling the need to magnify every event.

I can't say with certainty that yesterday's milestones will matter in the grand scheme of things, but my current vision for entering 2016 involves acknowledging what has past and being grateful for the present.

And as for the future? Let it come, let it come.
